W O R K S H O P
Over the last few years I have made over 100 self-portraits. When I look through the images, I can see the journey I've been on - a search for myself. I have placed myself in front of the camera to not only to see myself, but to notice what's underneath, to explore the ebbs and flow of life, document important moments, unpack ideas and concepts about myself and society, and simply - to enjoy the flow and playfulness that accompanies photos like this.
Turning my passion for self-portraiture into a workshop has been a way to understand what I am learning and create a space where others can take their own risks, in their own way, and for their own purposes. What I am learning is that we all have the capacity to create something moving and poignant if we so desire.
